This Saturday the racers from DragZone Racing team occupied triumphal scale of the MTB race Vitosha Downhill. Lubo Todorov grabbed the gold in the Veterans category with time of 03: 58.78. Two silver medals won Ioan Neychev and Martin Voinov in the categories respectively Men and Junior. DRAG representatives also showed off in the Hardtail category – Nikolay Hristoskoc ranked 4th.
This Saturday was held the first edition of the road race Vitosha Uphill, organized by Sports Club DRAG. More than 80 participants involved in the event. All of them measured forces with bicycles on the road from Boyana Residence to Zvezditsa hut. Evgeni Balev first overcame the distance of 20 km and 1200 m displacement for a time of 55:38 minutes. Fastest female was Iveta Alexieva form Bike club Gerak Vratsa, resulting 1:16:52.
The road race attracted the attention of many enthusiasts, which regardless of age demonstrated good performance. The youngest participant was Vittorio Popov from Sliven team, and the eldest one Georgi Ivanov from Pleven.
The competition was organized with the support of Doltcini and Sopharma AD.
