I understand

The Smart trainers by Tacx are very advanced and, at the same time, user-friendly. ‘‘Very easy to use’’, says pro cyclist Niki Terpstra about the latest Smart trainer, the Satori.

The Satori combines complex technique with ease of use. You connect the trainer to the Tacx Cycling apps for tablet or smartphone easily and efficiently and you can start right away. Because the Satori does not need to be connected to an electrical outlet, it can be used anywhere and at any time. If you want to train with your PC or laptop you can expand the training options with an upgrade.

The professional cyclists who collaborate with Tacx are already using the Satori for warming up and cooling down, so that they can get on the trainer before and after races without losing any valuable time. According to Niki Terpstra (Omega Pharma-Quick Step) the Satori is the solution for everyone. ‘‘You always have your phone on you and it’s easy to recharge it’’, according to the winner of Paris-Roubaix. ‘‘So it is very easy to use during training. The operating system of my smartphone is reliable. In combination with a Tacx trainer this truly is the max!’’

Innovative brake system

The Satori has a Neodymium magnetic brake which regulates the resistance. It uses an innovative system that handles an accurate speed, cadence and power output registration. These data are consequently communicated via ANT+ or Bluetooth® Smart technology to your tablet or smartphone and shown on the screen. You can set the resistance at 10 different settings via the handlebar resistance lever. The maximum resistance during a sprint (10sec) is 950 Watt.
